"ANDAHUASI"
I arrived
to Andahuasi when I was 7 years old. At first I did not like this city, because
everyone knows that moving from one place to another is a little difficult. In
Huacho I had many friends, besides my sisters were studying there, so I did not
like being in that place. However when time passed I began to like it, because
of the kind people, and also because my aunts and my family were there. What is
more, for the parties and festivals that we celebrate here. Andahuasi is the place
where I grew up to enter the CMSPP. It is in my opinion a very beautiful and
amazing place, more known as The Land of Sugar.
1. Where is Andahuasi?
Andahuasi is in kilometer 23 of
Huaura-Sayan road. Before arriving to the land of the sun Sayan, and after
Humalla.
In this blog I want to inspire you follow your dreams
and travel to Andahusi. It is a very little visited
place, however people who always migrate are the Chotanos, who come for a job
opportunity, where the Company and the people welcome them. Then, in this blog
I will show the most beautiful and incredible typical dishes, festivals and
places. First it is the big Company of Sugar, is very interesting.
2. COMPANY AGRARIA AZUCARERA ANDAHUASI:
This company is dedicated
to the production of sugar, extracted from the farms belonging to the company.
It also produces nauric yogurt, among other products such as alcohol. My father
is currently working in this company. It has different areas of work, which
together lead the company, and therefore to dear Andahuasi.
3. Typical Dishes and Drinks
- Chicha de Jora
- Duck's Ceviche
- Fried Trout
- Picante de Cuy
4. San Nicolas de Tolentino:
He is the patron of Andahuasi, each year he pays homage to him in the month of September. Everyone is grateful for the great and good production of the sugar cane fields.
5. Piscigranja
This is the most beautiful place in Andahuasi, as its
name says it is a pool of natural water, which comes from the subsoil. It is
refreshing and very clean, in addition there are fields to play soccer and
volleyball. There are also animals, such as turtles, chickens, ducks, stilts etc
... But the most essential are the breeding of trout, which produces, which in
my opinion are very rich.
"THE BEST PLACE"
I strongly believe that Andahuasi is really, REALLY
underappreciated, and that is very sad. It is a beautiful place, quiet and
peaceful, with very nice people, where you can spend a very nice time. So if
you are tired of the typical cities, with cars noises, air with CO2, and afraid
of thieves. DONT FORGET "Come to the Land of Sugar ANDAHUASI". Who is
